Professional Services

aal offers a comprehensive set of consulting, education, and technical support services to help our clients achieve their objectives.  Whether you are a new aal customer or a customer who has had years of eSIS® experience, you can benefit from the Professional Services offered by aal.


Project Management
aal is proud of our commitment to proven project management disciplines.  Through our Project Management Office we deploy consistent project management methodologies including processes, templates, and best practices.   Our Project Managers (PM) will work with your team to understand your specific goals and using our templates as guides, they will develop a customized project plan to meet your objectives while minimizing risk through proven mitigation, change control and quality assurance procedures.   In all cases, aal PMs will provide guidance related to best practices and will provide consultative direction to ensure a successful eSIS
® implementation.

Once a client has implemented eSIS® and enters the maintenance phase, an Account Manager is assigned to the account.  However, the client can continue to contract for Project Management Services as required. 

Training & Certification
Every training session is led by qualified aal Trainers who are eSIS®
Certified and who have years of experience delivering positive learning experiences.   We offer a variety of user and Train-the-Trainer programs where we can effectively prepare your staff to use eSIS® quickly and prepare your staff to confidently support eSIS® within your organization.  Training sessions can be customized to meet your specific needs and will include guided instruction, hands-on exercises, and an interactive learning experience.  To ensure continued success of our clients aal provides ongoing training and certification programs.

We work to suit your needs, whether it is face-to-face classroom training or remote training delivered via web based technology.  All training is supplemented by eSIS® online Help, learning guides, and eSIS® feature function guides.  aal is always looking for new and better ways to deliver training and will be launching a video on demand series in 2007.

Data Services
The objective of the aal data conversion team is to maximize the amount of data that can be automatically converted from legacy systems and to minimize any manual data entry that may be required.   While eSIS® readily accepts data from most systems, our conversion services analyze and match fields and codes from your current database to eSIS®.  To ensure system integrity, legacy data is validated before loading; any data errors or exceptional conditions are flagged and adequate time for correction is scheduled before implementation.

Our Database Administrator (DBA) Support services range from complete database setup and management to server configuration and performance boosting to mentoring of your own DBAs to help increase their ability to manage your eSIS® environment.  aal can provide on-site or remote support.

Application Specialists & Support Services
The Application Specialist (AS) will work with your core team to assist with the execution of the actual project plan.  The AS will answer your eSIS® functional questions, assist with data conversions, with setting up the application system codes, and will provide support to your team and / or school staff.

aal understands that our clients' needs vary. Our commitment to meet these needs is evident with our customized help desk services which can support your support staff or the school staff directly.
